Allied Energy Services developed combined cycle power plants. The plant uses aero-derivative gas turbine engines to produce power. The exhaust from the turbines is directed to a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG). The steam from the HSRG is used in a steam turbine to produce even more power.
AES assembled and directed a team of skilled professionals in the areas of site selection, land acquisition, permitting, regulatory and environmental law, community and public relations, design engineering, procurement, construction, and operations and maintenance.
AES developed an 80 MW natural gas-fired combined cycle power plant in the Bronx, NY. The project was designed on land that needed remediation due to its prior use as a coal gasification site.
